Greetings from Nicaragua's Pacific Riviera!
|

The beach at Arenas Bay
|
Imagine having a panoramic ocean view, white sand beaches, emerald green water, and world class surfing and fishing right in your back yard! Only 2 hours from Managua, Nicaragua's Pacific Riviera spans over 25 miles of pristine coast line
and includes several leading residential developments.
Last month we informed you that
Marina de Guacalito was acquired by Grupo Pellas, a conglomerate of financial, industrial, and commercial companies with over $4.5 billion in assets and 19,000 employees. Add Rancho Santana (an International Living property) and
Arenas Bay (This Month's Featured Property) and it's obvious why the Pacific Riviera is attracting so many retirees and real estate investors. |
Additional press coverage and word of mouth continues to increase the number of visitors and investors traveling to Nicaragua. The supermarket in Rivas (Pali) has recently doubled in size. New businesses are opening, including Papa John's
Pizza in Masaya and Subway in Granada. We are experiencing steady growth as well, having to hire additional team members to meet the demand.
Don't miss your opportunity to see Nicaragua before it is fully discovered by the masses. Let us know how we can help you
plan a trip to visit soon so you can see Nicaragua's Pacific Riviera first-hand.
Saludos!

MTI Investing $250 Million in Highway Improvements
|

|
Nicaragua's Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI), Ricardo Vega Jackson, recently gave details of the investments to be made in road infrastructure in the coming year. "In addition to the stretch between Sébaco and
Matagalpa, the Millenium Challenge Account will support Nejapa-Izapa, Chinandega-Corinto, León-Poneloya, and Jinotega-Matagalpa, and the World Bank, Diriamba-La Boquita and La Virgen-San Juan del Sur, among others. Vega remarked that "all
of these projects were simply awaiting approval from the Road Maintenance Fund [FOMAV] and now that we have the funds, this is all taking off and we are excited and optimistic that we will be able to carry out all of these projects very
soon."
|
Vega said that the ministry had achieved access to $250 million in funds to invest in national roadways, for repairs, upgrades and maintenance. "There are some projects that will not be completed within a single year, however we are very
optimistic that we will finish many this calendar year, and any remaining will be taken up by the incoming government." The ministry head said that in a demonstration of intent and effective management, a financing agreement has already
been signed for the highway between Matagalpa and Jinotega and an international request for bids will be released in order to begin work within approximately three months.
